"Oh Christmas Tree..." The children worked very hard preparing the decorations for the animal's tree. It was a beautiful snowy morning for our party and after the tree was decorated we joined hands, circled round and sang..."how lovely are your branches!"

Summer Play Garden 2008


What a wonderful time we had in the lazy days of summer at the 2008 Summer Play Garden. The children spent many hours tending the vegetable garden and playing in the sunflower house.

Kelly graduated in 1996 from Loras College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating, Kelly has lived in California, Alaska, and Illinois while working in many fields of Early Childhood including being a nanny, Head Start teacher, private preschool teacher, preschool director, infant-toddler teacher, crisis childcare provider, and a mother. Kelly is a graduate of the Arcturus Rudolf Steiner Education and Waldorf Teacher Training Program in Chicago and now lives in Rockford with her son, Rowan and her mother, Laura (a.k.a. Memaw)
